In 2017, the Ordre des traducteurs, terminologues et interprètes agréés du Québec (OTTIAQ) conducted an inspection of our office. We earned exemplary standing for our work practices, quality control, management, client relations and overall organization.

We are well respected by our clients.

"When translating the history of a place and its peoples, it is of utmost importance that the translation be both accurate and sensitive to the cultures, actors and issues being described. (…) No matter the subject given to Gwendolyn and Natasha, they consistently delivered well-researched translations that both honoured the original meaning and were sensitive to the subjects being described."

Vanessa Copeland, Project Editor, Reflections: History of Québec and Canada, TC Media Livres

Christine Brisson, Head – Collections and Exhibitions, Château Ramezay – Historic Site and Museum of Montreal

Amélie Renouf, Head – Programs and Activities, Heritage Montreal

Kattam Laraki-Côté, Percussion artist, songwriter and children’s entertainer

Natasha DeCruz has a B.A. in translation and an M.A. in literary translation from Université de Montréal.

Gwendolyn Schulman has a B.A. and M.A. in Canadian and African history and is a certified translator and member in good standing of the Ordre des traducteurs, terminologues et interprètes agréés du Québec (OTTIAQ).

We joined forces 23 years ago to translate a major exhibition for the Canadian Centre for Architecture. We have since built a vibrant partnership, and long-lasting relationships with our clients. We have also developed a team of talented translators who regularly work with us on larger mandates.

We cross-revise all of our translations to ensure texts that are accurate, sensitive and well rendered. We also create style guides and glossaries for each of our clients to ensure consistent style and terminology.
